If Republicans Want to Win Then Trump Must Lose.

Dr. Martin Luther King once said, “There comes a time when silence becomes betrayal.”

The silence from conservatives regarding the refusal to denounce Donald Trump as candidate for President of The United States betrays the people, the Republican Party, and our core American values. Get ready to call this an intervention or “coming to Jesus moment.”

Conservatism is feverishly ill, running a high temperature. It’s acting like a crystal-meth junkie trading in his/her morals for their quick fix. In order to save conservative values, it is time for republicans to break their elephant addiction by voting against Donald Trump, and putting the country first.

“A true patriot loves his country all the time and his government only when it deserves it.”——Mark Twain.

For the past seven years, the rise of the Tea Party has turned into a dark, populist movement, and like cancer, it’s eating away at the very foundation of the Grand O’l Party. Their message, “join us or die,” is showcased not just at GOP but KKK, neo-nazi,  rallies, and openly protesting moderate republicans and democrats as if they are the enemy. Benjamin Franklin, the creator of the “join us or die flag,” never intended for its meaning to be used AGAINST his own country. It was to symbolize UNITY with the colonies in order to fight tyranny TOGETHER. This sets a dangerous precedence when a third of Americans are AGAINST their own country.

“America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves.”—Abraham Lincoln.

For years, conservative radio, blogosphere, and cable outlets hammer a false reality in order to divide the electorate, and remain in a position of power while cashing that $$$$ paycheck. An angry audience is engaged, and easy to manipulate. Roger Ailes understood this playbook all too well. Political positions were set up as a pro/con mental juggernaut to fire up crowds with certain buzzwords in order to trigger a negative, and fearful, response.

Ailes created the illusion that if you’re conservative, you must take the Fox News point of view, otherwise you’re a RINO, not a true republican, and not an American. Radio pundits from alternative right had a voice in MAINSTREAM MEDIA, sharing a dangerous ideology that threatened politicians, media, and opposing parties. “If you’re not with us, you’re against us,”  Sarah Palin echoed recently to the #NeverTrump movement at a Trump Rally. If you didn’t support the alternative right viewpoint, you’re the enemy. Not only did the ruse work, but it damaged trust between voters, press, politicians, political parties, and our government.

“The individual is handicapped by coming face to face with a conspiracy so monstrous, he cannot believe it exists.”—J.Edgar Hoover.

Freedom Caucus holds congress hostage, and threatens career republicans. They’ll be voted out if they do not accept the new version of the party. I have a nickname for the Tea Party, and it is not kind. I call them teahadists because they reject ninety percent of the American people and their values, and support anarchy over democracy. In my opinion, they’re not republicans, they’re obstructionists adopting the “my way or the highway” mantra, and reject anyone who shares a different opinion. If push came to shove, teahadists would vote for Charles Manson if the R were by his name. Donald Trump is Frankenstein’s monster of the birther movement, the Biff Tannen of politics, and soul bearer of Joseph McCarthy’s ghost who rewrites reality.

“We’re an empire now and when we act, we create our own reality.”—Donald Rumsfeld.

That’s a frightening quote from Rumsfeld, isn’t it? We create our own reality. That has been the doctorate for far right wing for eight years, and its finally brought the country to its knees. Reality isn’t TRUTH. We can create an alternative reality by simply denying TRUTH. This worked until teahadists turned their venomous poison on center right, educated, common-sense conservatives. The party abandoned its principles for power and greed. I know because I was one of them. I felt brainwashed, unhealthy, and utterly repulsed to accept a narrative just because “the party says so, therefore it is so.” Somehow truth was replaced with fear mongering and politicians who adopted this dark thinking, were rising to power.

“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such a time as the State can shield the people from political, economic,/military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”—-German Third Reich–Joseph Goebbels

When I was a child, my parents taught me kindness, truth, compassion, and “treat others the way I want to be treated.” Bullying isn’t a sign of toughness but weakness. Donald Trump isn’t just a flawed man, he’s an emotionally damaged, narcissistic sociopath with the attention span of a petulant toddler. He, like his surrogates in media, all suffer from NILS—NAME IN LIGHTS SYNDROME. Palin, Hannity, O’Reilly, Ingraham, and Coulter, thrive on being the center of attention. Palin enjoyed shoving John McCain aside, bullying to bask in the spotlight and of course, Roger Ailes, the mastermind, gave her and the rest, a platform on Fox News. Think of each of these personalities for what they truly stand for and you’ll see that those who support Trump, are exactly like him. I’m not implying they all read Mein Kamph like their candidate, but they certainly borrow a page or two with their political agenda.

“Behind the ostensible government sits enthroned an invisible government owing no allegiance and acknowledging no responsibility to the people. To destroy this invisible government, to befoul this unholy alliance between corrupt business and corrupt politics is the first task of statesmanship today.”—Theodore Roosevelt.

Congratulations pseudo-journalists that entertain conspiracy theories and adopt Goebbels philosophy. Selling a dangerous narrative based off unfound truths, with the  purposeful intention to brainwash crosses every line of moral decency. Alternative right manipulates fear and repressed anger by replacing fact for a Machiavellian form of fiction set in East Germany WWII. One-third of Americans literally, deny reality for the fearful fantasy.

“Strange times are these in which we live when old and young are taught in falsehood’s school, and the one man that dares to tell the truth, is at once, called a lunatic and fool.”—Plato

Patriotic Americans uphold the U.S. Constitution and respect the rights of every individual. True conservatives reject treason, meanness, indecency, prejudice, and hate. The fact that Donald Trump praises the efforts of dictators like Kim Jung Un, and Vladamir Putin should terrify every American. God has sent the ultimate test to his children: deny Satan and all his works of evil. To ban Mosques, Latinos, mock disabled people, chant hate, deny freedom of religion, terrorize American Muslims and treat them like jihadists simply because of a racial fear, is pure evil.

This is not who we are.

To ally with Vladamir Putin and praise him as our “friend because he’s nice to me,” while Russian intelligence hacks into our government to RIG our elections, and steal our intelligence, is tantamount to treason. Think of Hanoi Jane frolicking with the Viet Cong, laughing while your father, grandfather, brother, cousin, boyfriend, husband was over there fighting in a war that never existed only in memory and in a photograph. How is this any different in what Trump is doing, and when did conservatism no longer mean DEFENDING or LISTENING to our military?

This is not who we are.

To support a “nominee” just because there’s an R by his/her name and remain silent is an unforgivable betrayal to the American people. Voters hire politicians to look out for their needs, and secure our country. They don’t give their vote as a blank check, they expect leadership and politicians to defend what is true. National security should never be political and stop at waters edge, isn’t that a pact in congress?  In my family there are republicans, democrats, libertarians, and yes, independents. None of us hate nor call our family members “them,” nor do we refer to them as “the enemy.” Everyone has a viewpoint that we respect because in the end, the family foundation is what guides and nurtures us. To abandon those values is wounding the American Spirit.

“All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as self-evident.”—Arthur Schopenhauer

My candidate for president was Governor John Kasich. A compassionate leader who cares about ALL not “some.” Kasich didn’t win the primary because sadly, he was too kind, too decent, too intelligent. The alternative right rejected a GOD fearing man for Lucifer’s towel boy. A contemptible sewer rat, a slum lord, a con artist, a traitor, a bully, a misogynist, a racist, a trigger happy sociopath, a compulsive liar, ALL BECAUSE HE PUT AN R BY HIS NAME.

I refuse to accept teahadism/trumpism ideology because it is the antithesis of Christ’s teachings, and America’s core values. That is not who I am, where I come from, or how I raised my children. Now that my granddaughter is on the way, I will teach her moral courage, patriotism, and understand that being an American is about standing for the TRUTH.

“Truth. It must be truth. When a man lies he murders some part of the world.”—Excalibur.

For the Republican Party to win, Donald Trump must lose, and not by a small margin. Teahadism is destroying our democracy, and Donald Trump is the embodiment of obstructionism. Center right must weigh the severity of this election and treat it how our Founding Fathers battled tyranny–by uniting for the greater good. The only colors that matter are red, white, and blue, political parties be damned.  Competence, experience, judgment, ability to handle a crisis, knowledge of our military, and understanding that we do not live in a “us vs. them” country is what I care about. Who is the best person to lead our country against terrorism, tyranny, and bring all of us together? Compromise is a necessity not a hinderance.  Leadership matters. Knowing when to stand up for those even when you don’t agree with them is the moral courage that Donald Trump lacks. It is the essence of doing what’s right.

That’s why I’m with Her.
